We are very sorry to announce that due to venue and funding considerations, we have finalised the artist list for Cementa_13. We have already included far more artists then we initially thought possible and are struggling to find room to accomodate them all. For those amazing artists who were not able to be included in this year's festival, please remember that Cementa will be a biennial event and that if we are successful on this first endeavor we would love to include many more of the fabulous artists that make up the many vibrant scenes of our city (and country).
We will publish a final list of artists within the next day or two.
Having said that, If anyone knows an art patron with a couple spare million or a State or Federal Minister, the deal to turn the cement works into a silver (lead) processing plant has fallen through and the works are possibly back on the market. I'm just saying, contemporary art has never been linked to developmental problems in children (the opposite, I would say). We like the name KICA , Kandos Institute of Contemporary Art, but for a price we are willing to consider options. You know where they can find us.
