WAYOUT ArtSpace is launching its first ever callout for exhibition and project proposals. Artists are invited to submit proposals for solo or group projects to be considered for exhibition as a part of our 2021 program. Our exhibition slots are 6 weeks long and will require artists to install and demount their own exhibition. We ask $300 fee from participating artists to cover the cost of the opening party and cover running costs during the exhibition.

WAYOUT is a regionally based ARI space dedicated to developing contemporary art culture in regional Australia through outreach and exchange with urban and regional artists and organisations across Australia. WAYOUT is housed in the original community hall of Kandos, a 21st century worker’s hall that has at different times served as a movie theatre, a gym, and a motorcycle museum. We have recently converted into a multi-use art and culture space that can participate in the Cementa program, creating contemporary art relevant to the regional context that communicates with and participates in the currents of wider art culture.

Wayout Layout

We have demountable walls and space can be reconfigured to meet your needs.
