SUPPORT OUR WORK

Since 2013, Cementa has evolved from an artist-initiated contemporary art festival into a platform for developing emergent art forms, connecting regional arts communities and artists with peers across Australia.

We believe that the future of art is regional. Cementa pursues this future through initiatives that seed and support a robust and thriving regional arts ecology - our annual residency program, biennial festival, supported ARI space WAYOUT, ‘The Uncooperative’ youth program, studio tours, and numerous other initiatives.

Donations support artists, our artist-led team, our community, and keep our flagship event, Cementa Festival free for everyone. Every contribution pays artists and makes art.

Cementa welcomes support at all levels, and acknowledges donations of $500 and above as part of our Patron program, below. Multi-year donations assist with long-term planning. Any amount over $2 is tax deductible. Cementa is a registered charity. Cementa’s 2024 Artist Fund is supported by Creative Australia’s Plus1 program, to support artist fees, projects and artist-led roles at Cementa24.

Since 2013, Cementa has supported over 350 artists and presented over 200 new, site-specific artworks. Past Cementa artists are listed here. Read Cementa's 2022 Impact Report and 2023 Impact Report.
