I went into Kandos telling my friends I was going to spend a few chilled out days in a sleepy town and came out feeling energised and inspired. Ann, Alex and Georgie are working seriously hard to bring this together and I think it's going to look fantastic.
The lovely Zio Ledeux was my partner in crime as we cycled and explored the town, picking apricots and plums along the way. Had huge amounts of fun helping him with his 'Andy does Kandos' project. And, yes, I also spent some time organising another extremist activity, not as easy as you may think. Scouting for locations, sketching and planning, making connections with locals to get the necessary approvals took almost 4 days with the help of Ann and Alex. I still need to go back to construct the garment, but very excited to have passed the initial major hurdles. Looking forward to it very much!
