The sun set, a full harvest moon rose, the Wollemi Standing Stones surrounded us and the Cudgegong Valley surrounded the stones. We travelled from day to night, from Winter to Spring through the song of //transcript//. Over a hundred people gathered to witness the arrival of Spring at Wollemi Standing Stones last Saturday via the experimental opera devised by Tammy Brennan, with music by Trevor Brown, and movement devised by Victoria Hunt and performed by Anton.

//transcript// began with a hundred people gathered in the paddock under a dead tree. The dryness of the land predominated, and it seemed that we stood in the centre of the drought as we were welcomed onto country and given an orientation to the work before we wandered down to the stones
