Site-specific work of a 46mx20cmx10cm trough embedded into the ground, coloured chlorine blue and filled with water. It references the black line marking on the bottom of 50m public swimming pools - a communal space ubiquitous to country towns throughout Australia. This work continues Kemp’s investigation into objects, images and repetitive practices that resonate memory.
