Muslim Hair Drying is a personal and political reflection on the way veiled (Muslim) women are perceived of in society today. The vintage hair dryer transforms the body of the wearer into something anamorphic and alien, whilst the Niqab not only completes the illusion through the use of fabric but also reinforces this notion of otherness.
