FILTH
FILTH is Andrea Meacham, Anna Schwann, Lewis Gittus and Sarah Walker. We work across sound, video, installation and sculpture, making works that sit in the realm of the strange, the sloppy, the spooky and the surreal. We draw ravenously from high and low culture: from Gothic literature, schlock cinema and messed up televisual nostalgia to the occult, the inane, the operatic and the obscene.
Together, our work comes together to prioritise the bodily over the heady, the felt over the thought, and the complex over the neat. Our work is weird and wild and barely restrained.
