Hoang Tran Nguyen
Hoang is a founding member of the language advocacy group ViệtSpeak, based in Naarm Melbourne’s western suburbs. His PhD examined the racial politics of education and art in the transition from state multiculturalism into neoliberalism, and developed models for community-engaged artistic practice in the settler colonial state.
Hoang Tran Nguyen works in social practice to examine the politics of place, language and labour.
