Keila Terencio de Paula

I am a performance artist born and raised in Brasil, based on Gadigal (Sydney).  In my practice, I explore non-linear storytelling, using objects and materials to create immersive landscapes, shapes, and textures that interact with the body, allowing stories to unfold through image, gesture, and sensation. I focus on the relationship between bodies and objects, the communication they share, and the symbolism they create together. I pay close attention to narratives found in dreams, nature, personal stories, and emotions, translating these experiences into work that invites audiences to connect, imagine, and interpret their own meanings.
