Lichen Kelp & Dylan Martorell
Dylan Martorell and Lichen Kelp’s multi-decade long collaboration has cultivated spaces for improvised, collective experience including the travelling residency Forum of Sensory Motion and the gig series The Yurtings. Under the name Kelping, they also share a performance practice that includes liquid landscapes, hand built instruments and multisensory electronic ikebana.
Kayak Orchestra blends sound, sculpture, and performance in an experimental ritual that acts as a gentle reverie on water stewardship. Equipped with sonified kayaks, audiences will experience a meditative soundscape that attunes to the local acoustic ecologies, creating an immersive drift that pays homage to Ganguddy.
