statement:

‘Pluripotent’ is the scientific name of cells having knowledge to reproduce themselves and grow new cells. My abstract work encompasses basic shapes such as wavy lines, organic shapes and circles. These forms are not only the building blocks of the cosmos, but also powerful symbols that have been used in many cultures all over the world. I am interested in working with a variety of mediums and materials focusing on colour, textures and movement. I work with natural stones, found objects and colours that conduct energy.
