A large-scale graphite rubbing of the pagoda fence bordering Bushman’s House, the family home designed and built by Stan Grudzien, a local labourer. Using graphite on Japanese paper, the process of rubbing the textured cement surface reveals unseen detail, a graphic trace that in turn acknowledges social and industrial stories of the region.
